Organic Dark Red Kidney Beans – Dark red kidney beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) are among the best plant-based sources of protein and dietary fiber. They also contain complex carbohydrates that help you feel fuller for longer—especially helpful during emergencies.

Organic Adzuki Beans– Adzuki beans (Vigna angularis) are a powerful source of plant protein and slow-burning carbohydrates, making them an ideal energy fuel. Ingredients: Organic Black Eyed Peas, Organic Dark Red Kidney Beans, Organic Adzuki Beans

Directions

Organic Black-Eyed Peas: Rinse and Soak peas in cold water 8 - 12 hours, drain and rinse, transfer to large pot, add stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer 45 - 90 minutes stirring and adding stock as needed. Season with salt and pepper.

Organic Dark Red Kidney Beans: Soak the 1/4 cup beans in a bowl, covered with 2-3 inches of cold water 6-8 hours. Drain, rinse, add beans to pot, cover with water, add desired spices. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low simmer, cover, and cook for 45-60 minutes. Check beans, the texture should be creamy and tender. If not done, continue to simmer 15-30 minutes to desired texture. Remove from heat.

Organic Adzuki Beans: Rinse 1/4 cup of beans thoroughly under cold water. Soak in 1.5 cups of water for 1-2 hours (optional for quicker cooking time). Drain and rinse. Simmer in fresh 1.5 cups of water for 45-60 minutes or 34-40 minutes (if soaked) until tender. Drain, season and serve.

Storage suggestions: Store in a clean, cool, dry and odor free area at temperatures of around 59-80°F with less than 65% humidity. Keep product away from direct heat, moisture and sunlight. Avoid storage near objects with strong odors or which may breed insects.

All items must be shipped back within 30 days and must be unopened (including external seals in tact), in their original packaging and resalable condition.  Once received and inspected, we will refund your method of payment, less original shipping/delivery charges. If you are past the 30 day mark on your purchase, we will not accept the items back nor offer you a credit or refund.
